Cosplay is a fun component of the gaming convention. But I am always delighted when my course on religion and science fiction meets on Halloween. I will wear my Star Trek uniform, and will encourage students to wear costumes too. But whether they do or not, we will talk about the parallels between religious communities and those of sci-fi fandom.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I wonder how many atheist sci-fi fans, on the other hand, might say things about religion that would make an inversion of the cartoon equally apt.
