<\/a>Thanks to Jim Getz<\/a> for drawing to my attention something that I must have missed when it appeared on AWOL<\/a>: The Virtual Magic Bowl Archive<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is a site for a project aimed at bringing not only digital images of the bowls<\/a> (hopefully including Mandaic ones!), but also scholars working on these bowls, together into a virtual collaborative space.<\/p>\n

They also have the coolest logo ever, mimicking the spiral writing characteristic of the magic bowls.<\/p>\n

One publicly-accessible\u00a0result already connected with this project<\/a> is a prosopographic database of the Babylonian magical bowls<\/a>.<\/p>\n
