Classes begin today here at Butler University. This semester I\u2019ll be teaching The Bible<\/a>, South Asian Civilizations<\/a> (a core curriculum Global and Historical Studies course), and Heresy<\/a> (which is, in essence, a course about early Christian extracanonical literature and the debates about and development of doctrine in the early church, but that doesn\u2019t have quite the same appeal that \u201cheresy\u201d does).<\/p>\n
