Of course, the truth of the matter is that there are numerous difficulties involved in reading and then interpreting the text.<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Help for those trying to make an informed judgment about the text is provided by <a href=\"http:\/\/aramaicdesigns.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/gabriels-revelation-full-transcript.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Aramaic Blog<\/a>, who have helpfully posted images of the transcribed text, as well as a link to an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nfc.co.il\/uploadFiles\/138240993022919.pdf\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">article<\/a> about it. NT Wrong has <a href=\"http:\/\/ntwrong.wordpress.com\/2008\/07\/06\/knohls-interpretation-of-hazon-gabriel\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">short excerpts from Israel Knohl\u2019s article<\/a>.<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>I\u2019ve yet to take a proper look at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telecomtally.com\/blog\/2008\/05\/hazon_gabriel_rephaim_and_an_ugaritic_text.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">it<\/a>, but it would make sense in the context of my current thinking about the rise of early Christianity if the motif of \u201cin three days rise again\u201d was already traditional, and the disciples who fled back to Galilee came to believe that Jesus had risen \u201con the third day\u201d not because they knew a tomb had been found empty on that day, but because they believed that was what must have happened \u201caccording to the Scriptures\u201d.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>In other ancient Messianic news, <a href=\"http:\/\/jwest.wordpress.com\/2008\/07\/07\/are-joe-ziass-ancestors-buried-in-the-talpiot-tomb\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Jim West<\/a> continues his summaries of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.antoniolombatti.it\/B\/Blog07-08\/Voci\/2008\/7\/7_Talpiot,_Cox_on_the_DNA_(7).html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Antonio Lombatti\u2019s Italian posts on the Talpiot tomb<\/a>. <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>In connection with another of my current interests, I would also like to mention that a couple more classic translations of Mandaean texts into German by Mark Lidzbarski have been made available in Acrobat PDF and other formats at archive.org. In addition to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archive.org\/stream\/MN41563ucmf_2\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ginza<\/a>, there is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archive.org\/details\/dasjohannesbuchd01lidzuoft\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Book of John<\/a> (in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archive.org\/details\/dasjohannesbuchd02lidzuoft\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">two parts<\/a>) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archive.org\/details\/mandaschelitur00lidzuoft\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Mandaean Liturgy<\/a>.
