I\u2019ve posted a couple of times now on the speculations that are making the rounds by e-mail and on the web about Barack Obama<\/a> being the antichrist<\/a>. Clearly many of the Christians making such allegations have not thought things through.\n

The Book of Revelation depicts the Beast<\/a> as in cahoots with and activated by Satan<\/a> and the powers of darkness.<\/p>\n

So if Barack Obama is in fact a Christian, as he claims and as he seems to be, then by definition the Holy Spirit is at work in his life.<\/p>\n

That means that his accusers are in fact attributing the power at work in his life to the Devil, and thus committing blasphemy against the Holy Spirit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Those who made the original \u201cblasphemy challenge<\/a>\u201d did not have a clear understanding of the Bible\u2019s statements on this subject. But here\u2019s a chance for you to try a more authentic version.<\/p>\n

So if you are a \u201cBible-believing Christian\u201d, then read Matthew 12<\/a>, and think seriously about whether this \u201cObama is the antichrist\u201d stuff is worth the risk\u2026<\/p><\/div>\n
