What are the most positive and negative aspects of your own experience of blogging as a Christian, a pastor and an academic?<\/p>\n<p><strong>ANSWER<\/strong>: Actually, I\u2019ve only been blogging regularly for 12 or 13 months now. Before that, no one read my blog, and I rarely posted. The good \u2018ol days.<\/p>\n<p>What I like about blogging is that it is a lot like real life. The friendship and the camaraderie. The BS-ing. Pictures of <a href=\"http:\/\/voiceofiyov.blogspot.com\/2008\/06\/bloomsday-special-9-marilyn-monroe.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Marilyn Monroe reading James Joyce<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What I don\u2019t like about blogging is that it is a lot like real life. It gets old sometimes. People online are like people everywhere:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sweet dreams are made of this<br>Who am I to disagree?<br>Travel the world and the seven seas<br>Everybody\u2019s looking for something<br>Some of them want to use you<br>Some of them want to get used by you<br>Some of them want to abuse you<br>Some of them want to be abused<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But I can live with that.
