<\/iframe>\n<\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/christiancentury.org\/article\/2011-10\/fringe-view\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Mythicism<\/a> is complete and utter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2016\/02\/jesus-sherlock-holmes-and-hercules.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">nonsense<\/a>, especially when it thinks that there is something profound in making a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2011\/09\/jesus-and-the-stereotypical-hero.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">comparison<\/a> between Jesus and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2015\/12\/fictions-and-facts-about-jesus.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">Batman<\/a>. (See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2010\/12\/clarifying-gospel-genre-for-a-confused-mythicist.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">my earlier post on clarifying Gospel genres for a confused mythicist<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>But I must admit, the depiction of Bat-Church in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2015\/10\/batman-more-scholarly-than-zeitgeist.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">trailer<\/a>\u00a0above is pretty cool!<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mythicism is complete and utter nonsense, especially when it thinks that there is something profound in making a comparison between Jesus and Batman.
