It seems as though my students may not be the only ones who need such help.<\/p>\nIan at Further Thoughts has posted a round-up<\/a> of the blogospheric activity relating to the use of an animation in the movie Expelled<\/a><\/em> that seems to have been used without permission. It may be a copy<\/em> of an animation that they were not given permission to use.<\/p>\n See further ERV<\/a> (twice<\/a>), The Austringer<\/a>, Threads from Henry\u2019s Web<\/a>, The Panda\u2019s Thumb<\/a> (twice<\/a>), The Bad Idea Blog<\/a>, Stranger Fruit<\/a> (twice<\/a>), Monkey Trials<\/a>, Hyphoid Logic<\/a>, Open Parachute<\/a> and Science Avenger<\/a>, among others. Even IO9<\/a> has a mention, which implicitly places the movie in the correct genre: science fiction. <\/em>Also, John Pieret<\/a> gives a snippet from Michael Shermer\u2019s review of the movie. Playing Chess With Pigeons<\/a> and Pharyngula<\/a> have reviews from Scientific American<\/em>. Higgaion has a wonderful discussion of why Ken Miller is not in the movie<\/a>, and Duane Smith has a follow-up<\/a>. There is also a review at Debunking Christianity<\/a>. AIG Busted<\/a> points to one written by Robert McHenry<\/a>. Denyse O\u2019Leary thinks<\/a> she<\/a> knows<\/a>, as always.<\/p>\n Any resemblance of the above post to other blog entries on the same subject is completely coincidental. The image, logo and cartoon reproduced here are not those found elsewhere on the internet.
