I received word yesterday that I will be presenting a paper in Boston in November at this year\u2019s annual meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature. It will be in the Jewish Christianity\/Christian Judaism program unit, and the paper will be entitled \u201cMandaean Polemic against Jews and Christians as Evidence about the Origins and Setting of Early Mandaism\u201d.<\/p>\n

On a related subject, I\u2019ve found that Lidzbarski\u2019s German translation of the Ginza<\/a> is available for download as a PDF file<\/a> from the Internet Archive<\/a>. That is such<\/em> a wonderful resource!<\/p>\n
