<\/a>Chris Keith (PhD, University of Edinburgh) is Assistant Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins at Lincoln Christian University. His first book, The Pericope Adulterae, the Gospel of John, and the Literacy of Jesus<\/em><\/a>\"\"<\/em><\/span> (Brill, 2009) was a winner of the 2010 John Templeton Award for Theological Promise, given by the Forschungszentrum Internationale und Interdisziplin\u00e4re Theologie at the University of Heidelberg. His lecture is based on research for his forthcoming book, Jesus\u2019 Literacy: <\/em>Scribal Culture and the Teacher from Galilee<\/em> (T&T; Clark, 2011).<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
