My review of Max Stern\u2019s book Psalms and Music<\/i><\/a> is now available in RBL<\/em><\/a> to SBL members. I inadvertently violated the SBL open access policy in sharing my last review on Academia.edu and so I will not be doing so this time. I will say that, while I did have some criticisms to offer (Stern uncritically embraces some fundamentalist Christian\u00a0claims about rock music,\u00a0for instance), the book on the whole has been extremely useful to me as I\u2019ve prepared my course on the Bible and Music.<\/p>\n
