\u2018Why do we believe stuff that\u2019s not true?\u2019 he said, and I\u00a0said, \u2018because it\u2019s easier than admitting we don\u2019t know. Which is a lot closer to reality. That\u2019s what we humans do, we make up things about everything. There\u2019s very little we really know, so we make it up and then believe it, until reality clearly tells us that our theories aren\u2019t working any more. Then we go and make up something new and start the whole game all over again.\u2019<\/p>\n
