Was Jesus buried, and if so, was it in a tomb, a trench grave, or in some other way? This is the question (or set of related questions) that Answers in Genesis BUSTED! is pondering<\/a> at present. <\/p>\n

The burial of Jesus<\/a>\"\"<\/span>\u00a0is a topic that I have long found fascinating\"\"<\/span>. When the relevant volume of the Encyclopedia of the Bible and its Reception<\/a>\"\"<\/span><\/em> comes out later this year, there will be a multi-author article on the reception history of those stories, to which I contributed a section.\u00a0But given the nature of the work for which it\u00a0was written, that article\u00a0won\u2019t be\u00a0focused on the historical question.\u00a0The\u00a0latter is\u00a0a topic to which I hope to find time to return at some point in the future as a focus of research. <\/p>\n

In the mean time, I\u2019ll keep mentioning it from time to time here on the blog \u2013 and linking to any mentions or discussions of the topic elsewhere that I notice and which seem worth sharing.<\/p>\n
