The Provost is the chief academic officer of the University, responsible for guiding the academic direction of the institution and ensuring the quality of programs and faculty. The Provost oversees the development, review, and implementation of academic policies in consultation with the Faculty Assembly; coordinates the recruitment, evaluation, and retention of faculty and academic staff; has budgetary responsibility for academic programs and resources; maintains the cycle of program reviews; and solicits funds for academic programs and facilities. <\/div>\n
