\nEpiscopals alone seem to be sure
\nThe Methodists coordinate their stoles
\nWhile others like the Baptists are lost souls<\/p>\n

Can liturgists take pleasure in this time
\nWhen Advent is just Christmas shopping time
\nA countdown until stores will be closed
\nAnd Christmas music played to overdose<\/p>\n

Can Advent be a season we hold dear
\nWhen Christmas songs at Halloween appear?
\nNo one will think to write Advent songs
\nWhile lost amid the Black Friday throngs<\/p>\n

And finally when Christmas time is here
\nSo many will have realized this fear
\nWe cast wrapping paper aside
