Searching (as I always seem to as Christmas draws near) to see if any new recordings or videos<\/a> or the Christmas carol \u201cEvery Star Shall Sing A Carol\u201d by Sydney Carter have become available, this year I was struck that the keywords of that title brought up as a suggested alternative \u201cEvery Star, Every Planet<\/a>\u201d \u2013 theme music from season 5 of the latest Doctor Who series. And it features as an alternative title an \u201cI am\u201d saying: \u201cI Am The Doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recently I found myself explaining once again why a religion professor would explore the intersection between religion and science fiction. But the intersections are multiple, easily spotted, and there as far back as anyone cares to trace the genre. <\/p>\n
