Wilson<\/a> (author of bestselling science fiction novels like <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2WeTh8h\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><em>Robopocalypse<\/em><\/a> as well as the <em>mostly<\/em> nonfiction\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/31N4GgK\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><em>How To Survive a Robot Uprising<\/em><\/a>) spoke at Butler University recently as part of the Woods Lecture series, and I had the privilege of not only hearing that talk, but having dinner with Wilson. He recommended a number of things to read or watch, including <a href=\"http:\/\/jmc.stanford.edu\/articles\/robotandbaby.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">the short story \u201cThe Robot and the Baby\u201d<\/a> by John McCarthy. He also mentioned <a href=\"https:\/\/vsdesign.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" class=\" decorated-link\">the Value-Sensitive Design Research Lab<\/a>.
