{"id":735,"date":"2011-07-10T15:09:36","date_gmt":"2011-07-10T19:09:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.patheos.com\/community\/exploringourmatrix\/?p=727"},"modified":"2011-07-10T15:09:36","modified_gmt":"2011-07-10T19:09:36","slug":"how-to-determine-the-queen-and-king-of-the-biblioblogosphere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/religionprof\/2011\/07\/how-to-determine-the-queen-and-king-of-the-biblioblogosphere.html","title":{"rendered":"How to Determine the Queen and King of the Biblioblogosphere"},"content":{"rendered":"<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC \"-\/\/W3C\/\/DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional\/\/EN\" \"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/REC-html40\/loose.dtd\">\n<html><head><meta http-equiv=\"content-type\" content=\"text\/html; charset=utf-8\"><meta http-equiv=\"content-type\" content=\"text\/html; charset=utf-8\"><\/head><body><p>There have been major struggles for dominance in the biblioblogosphere, as bloggers have sought to attain the coveted #1 rank, and debated and introduced new methods of evaluation \u2013 from Alexa rankings to voting.<\/p>\n<p>I would like to propose a different method.<\/p>\n<p>The queen and king of the biblioblogosphere should not be based on something as ephemeral or untrustworthy as statistics or popular opinion, whether during a particular month or over a longer period.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_729\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-729\" style=\"width: 100px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-729\" href=\"http:\/\/www.patheos.com\/community\/exploringourmatrix\/2011\/07\/10\/how-to-determine-the-queen-and-king-of-the-biblioblogosphere\/king-joel\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-729\" src=\"https:\/\/wp.patheos.com\/community\/exploringourmatrix\/files\/2011\/07\/king-joel.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\"><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-729\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Would Joel be king this way?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em>I propose instead that the rank of queen and king of the biblioblogosphere be bestowed upon those male and female bloggers whose photos appear closest to the top in an <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">image search<\/span> for the term \u201cbiblioblog.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Depending on which search engine you use, you may get different results.
