By some good fortune I have ended up with two copies of Dale Allison\u2019s new book, Constructing Jesus: Memory, Imagination, and History<\/em><\/a>![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=jamefmcgrshom-20&l=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969&o=1&a=0801035856\")
\u00a0(Baker Academic, 2010). The publisher has said they are happy for me to give the book to another blogger to review, or to have a giveaway. Since many readers of this blog are themselves bloggers, and those who are not could still write a review on Amazon or some other such site, I soon realized that it is possible to do both. And so I will give the book away, with the understanding that the person who receives it should blog about it or review it.<\/p>\nBut then I realized that, unlike other bloggers who have held such giveaways in the past, I didn\u2019t have a creative,\u00a0amusing and comical idea for a competition. What a conundrum!<\/p>\n
Then it hit me what I should do, and here it is: I\u2019ll then also solicit input on which ideas are the best (you\u2019re not allowed to vote for your own) so that it is not only my own subjective decision \u2013\u00a0although at the end of the day, my decision (or that of any coins I find I need to flip to make up my mind) is final. Only complaints laced with humor, sarcasm and insults will be permitted after the decision has been made.<\/p>\n So begin submitting your proposals.
