I\u00a0am not sure if I\u2019ve\u00a0thought of\u00a0the best\u00a0contender yet, but at the moment I\u2019m inclined to go with this one: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0842332847?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=jamefmcgrshom-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=0842332847\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><em>The Book<\/em><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=jamefmcgrshom-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0842332847\" style=\"border-bottom: medium none;border-left: medium none;border-right: medium none;border-top: medium none;margin: 0px\" width=\"1\">. But I may yet come up with something better still, and so had better wait until I check whether we can enter more than once.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/jimgetz.org\/2010\/10\/14\/most-boring-book-title-ever\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Jim Getz<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/thechurchofjesuschrist.us\/2010\/10\/question-of-the-millennium-is-doug-mangum-boring\/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheChurchOfJesusChrist+%28The+Church+of+Jesus+Christ%29&amp;utm_content=Google+Reader\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Joel Watts<\/a>, and others have already joined in on their own blogs, while <a href=\"http:\/\/anebooks.blogspot.com\/2010\/10\/fun-contest.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Jim Spinti has livened things up by offering an attractive prize<\/a>. Whatever the winner turns out to be, it presumably won\u2019t be something from <a href=\"http:\/\/stalinsmoustache.wordpress.com\/2010\/10\/15\/is-there-something-james-crossley-is-not-telling-us\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">James Crossley\u2019s library<\/a>. Meanwhile, others are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.christiancentury.org\/blogs\/archive\/2010-10\/emilie-towness-runners\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">looking for significant books<\/a> \u2013 which aren\u2019t necessarily incompatible with their having boring titles.
