The world of handwritten texts is hard for us to imagine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/paleojudaica.blogspot.com\/2011_07_17_archive.html#7463989686052360293\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Jim Davila shared<\/a> that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imj.org.il\/shrine_center\/Isaiah_Scrolling\/index.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">good high-quality images of the Isaiah scroll from Qumran are now online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.insidehighered.com\/blogs\/library_babel_fish\/breaking_news_academic_journals_are_really_expensive\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">At <em>Inside Higher Ed<\/em>, Barbara Fister threatens to take away our beer in order to get us to acknowledge the obvious truth that academic journals can be ridiculously expensive<\/a>.
