Decker<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The Blackwell Philosophy and Pop Culture Series<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n To propose ideas for future volumes in the Blackwell series please contact the Series Editor, William Irwin, at williamirwin@kings.edu<\/a><\/p>\n The Dune <\/em>series of books is often compared to The Lord of the Rings <\/em>for its scope, depth, and wide influence on speculative fiction. Works focusing on any of the six Dune <\/em>books by Frank Herbert and thefilm projects by Alejandro Jodorowsky and David Lynch are sought. Contributors of accepted essays will receive an honorarium. Abstracts and subsequent essays should be philosophically substantial but accessible, written to engage the intelligent lay reader.<\/p>\n Possible themes and topics might include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n This book is scheduled to be published in conjunction with the\u00a0projected Dune\u00a0movie sequel in fall 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n Submission Guidelines:<\/p>\n 1.
