<\/iframe>\n<\/p><p>Someone managed to combine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jbKEGfjmcso\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">video footage of Steve Hackett playing live<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EeZRdd_1b4g\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the recording of the original album version of the Genesis song \u201cBlood on the Rooftops\u201d from the album Wind & Wuthering<\/a>, together with images that (for all the corniness of some of them) manage to convey the meaning of this classic song to a contemporary audience, to good effect (click the links I've embedded to get to the separate sources).<\/p>\n<p>The song focuses on a subject that both Genesis and Phil Collins' solo efforts have looked at on more than one occasion, namely the role of television and the media in our lives.
