Although I\u2019m currently undergoing a spam attack, giving in to a bully only encourages them to carry on with their bullying. And since this particular bully has made clear that his aim is to get me to switch on comment moderation, that\u2019s obviously the one thing that I must absolutely not do. <\/p>\n

But I can apologize if anyone who subscribes to comments gets some of that spam in their inbox. Comments of this sort obviously will disappear from the blog itself very quickly, and I will\u00a0ask again that no readers or commenters respond or react to such spam comments, since they will be deleted, which might leave your own comments without a context.<\/p>\n

But I certainly find myself asking the following question: How can someone who has enough free time that they can spend hours every day spamming at least one Christian blog (my own) as well as apparently doing the same to blogs associated with other perspectives, and who chooses to spend that free time making a nuisance of himself rather than preaching the Gospel,\u00a0helping the poor, or doing any of the various things commanded in the Bible, possibly be so deceived or deluded as to think that he is standing for Christianity, for righteousness, for truth, and\/or for goodness? <\/p>\n

If you have enough time that you could make a difference for the better, speaking out for the truth and acting to make a positive difference, and you waste that time insulting people and copying and pasting vulgarity, one things is very clear: you\u2019re not in fact a Christian, you\u2019re not in fact standing for anything that could remotely be considered good. <\/p>\n

And so here\u2019s the question I put forward for discussion and reflection: Is it genuinely possible to become so self-deluded that you think good is evil and evil good? Or does this in fact represent a clear sign of mental illness? If you think that such a degree of self-delusion is possible, then what are the steps that lead there, and how do we avoid ending up there ourselves?<\/p>\n

If past experience is anything to go by, an example of the kind of thing I\u2019m talking about should appear shortly\u2026and it saddens my heart, as I\u2019m sure it saddens other Christians who\u2019ve seen this kind of behavior.<\/p>\n
