One of the world\u2019s biggest rappers is celebrating his \u201cre-bar mitzvah\u201d in a new music video featuring bagels, Manischewitz and an Israeli flag.<\/p>\n

In a clip released at the start of Passover, perennial chart topper Drake depicts his \u201cre-commitment to the Jewish religion,\u201d telling viewers at the start of the video, \u201cI gotta do what I gotta do.\u201d<\/p>\n

The clip, for the new single \u201cHYFR,\u201d unfolds mostly in a synagogue, and features the rapper \u2014 full name: Aubrey \u201cDrake\u201d Graham \u2014 wearing a tallit and yarmulke and reading from the Torah. The clip \u2014 which we keep rewatching to be sure it\u2019s real \u2014 also displays a Torah-shaped cake that says, \u201cHappy re-bar mitzvah,\u201d and shows the rapper being lifted in a chair while partygoers dance the hora around him.<\/p>\n

The video opens by briefly showing the rapper \u2014 the son of an African-American father and a Canadian-Jewish mother \u2014 around the time he first became a Jewish man, busting some pretty awesome dance moves at what appears to be a bar mitzva party.
