I am at peace with my wife.\u201d He suspended his campaign soon after allegations were made that he had had a long-term extramarital affair. The subtext for the first sentence, then, is something like, \u201cMy God has forgiven me\u201d or \u201cMy God knows me and understands me\u201d or \u201cMy God will not judge me\u201d or \u201cMy God will not condemn me.\u201d<\/p>\n
