Last Friday\u2019s episode of\u00a0Real Time with\u00a0Bill Maher<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>featured a passionate debate between\u00a0Cornel West<\/strong>, a Princeton professor who has attended many of the Occupy Wall Street protests, and\u00a0Ron Christie<\/strong>, a Republican strategist who previously worked as a staffer for Vice President\u00a0Dick Cheney<\/strong>. The first topic of discussion after Christie came on the panel was Libya and why Republicans were not willing to give\u00a0President Obama<\/strong>\u00a0credit for carrying out the operation.<\/div>\n
Christie explained that before going into Libya, it was important to ask what the clear objective was, how to win, and \u201cwhat is the definition of success.\u201d Former CNN foreign correspondent\u00a0Michael Ware<\/a><\/strong>, who spent roughly seven years in Iraq, exploded at this point and asked why he didn\u2019t ask those same questions when he served in the Bush administration.<\/div>\n
