Howard University School of Divinity<\/a>\u00a0is again bringing high profile speakers, academics and performing artists from across the nation to spread the word during its 95th Annual Convocation next week, but this year something\u2019s different.<\/div>\n
The message is being delivered through hip hop.<\/div>\n
Names of some of the guests are familiar \u2013 like syndicated radio talk show host\u00a0Michael Eric Dyson<\/a>, the man EBONY named one of the nation\u2019s most influential African Americans, and the\u00a0Rev. E. Dewey Smith<\/a>, the singing pastor from Decatur, Ga., whose YouTube videos routinely get five- and six-figure hits.<\/div>\n
But some are new to Howard. They are Christian hip hop artists\u00a0Mali Music<\/a>,\u00a0Sean Simmonds<\/a>,\u00a0Da \u2018T.R.U.T.H.<\/a>, Rhema Soul<\/span><\/div>\n

and\u00a0The Ambassador<\/a>\u00a0from the\u00a0MisFits 2011 tour<\/a>.
