I had the opportunity to be a part of the Colored Conventions<\/a> symposium held April 24-25, 2015 at the University of Delaware. The\u00a0symposium posed questions about the ways in which understandings of nineteenth-century campaigns for racial justice shifted when the decades-long colored convention movement stands alongside abolition as one of the principal ways in which we conceive of early racial and justice movements.
