The Rev. Rashad D. Grove is the Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Wayne, PA.<\/a> He is the 6th Generation of Baptist ministers committed to the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ. On January 27st of 2013, the First Baptist Church of Wayne, PA voted unanimously to select Rev. Rashad D. Grove as its new pastor and at the 31 years of age, one of the youngest pastors in the history of the historic church.<\/p>\n

After being licensed to Gospel Ministry on July 18, 2004 he was ordained on April 26, 2009. He has previously has served as an Adjunct Professor at Lancaster Bible College\u2019s Life Enrichment program and on the Executive Council of the NAACP as the Political Action chair of the Coatesville Branch. He\u2019s also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society for academic achievement.<\/p>\n

As a published writer, Rev. Grove\u2019s work has been featured in academic journals and publications such as Urban Cusp, <\/em>Religion Matters<\/em> and as a co-author to the books Empowered To Serve As We Stand On The Promises<\/a> and Jesus: The Indescribable Gift<\/a><\/em> both devotionals, by the Main Line Black Interdenominational Ministers Alliance.<\/p>\n

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Baptist Association. He also had the distinct honor of being a Fellow at Princeton Theological Seminary\u2019s Black Theology and Leadership Institute.<\/p>\n

He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Empire State College with a B.A. in African-American Studies and will be matriculating at Princeton Theological Seminary towards a Master of Divinity Degree beginning in the fall of 2015.<\/p>\n

Pastor Grove lives happily with his lovely wife Brandi a graduate of The Art Institute of York, PA their daughters Camille and Caris, and dog Oscar.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
