Katherine Whitfield moved to Memphis, Tenn., in 2000 to attend Rhodes College. She graduated in 2004 with a degree in English and a minor in Religious Studies. Immediately after college, Katherine worked for four years coordinating PR and marketing efforts for an independent bookstore. Since 2008, she has served on the marketing and communications team at Le Bonheur Children\u2019s Hospital, facilitating on-campus communications, collaborating on culture-shaping initiatives and partnering with Le Bonheur families to ensure the best possible care experience. Katherine began her studies at Memphis Theological Seminary in fall of 2014, and she intends to explore the relationship between faith and health during her tenure at MTS. In her spare time, Katherine loves to travel, to sing and play the piano, to read, and to spend time with friends, family, and four-legged furballs in her beloved Memphis.<\/span><\/p>\n
