<\/span>Proposals for papers, panels, and presentations are invited involving any area of the study of popular culture and religion at the Midwest Popular Culture Association\/American Culture Association conference at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, Friday-Sunday, October 3\u20135, 2014. All topics, approaches, and perspectives relating to religion and popular culture are welcomed and will be considered; we have a very open tent and welcome diversity of content, approach, and perspective. We especially encourage proposals by graduate students. Graduate students should investigate our travel grant program (http:\/\/mpcaaca.org\/conference\/travel-grants\/<\/a>); undergraduate students might consider entering the undergraduate paper competition (http:\/\/mpcaaca.org\/conference\/undergraduate-paper-competition\/<\/a>).\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>Please upload 250 word abstract proposals on any aspect of Religion and Popular Culture Studies to the online paper submission site for the conference at http:\/\/submissions.mpcaaca.org\/<\/a>. You will receive a response within 24 hours. Please include name, institution affiliation (if any), and e-mail address with the 250-word abstract. Also, please indicate in your submission whether your presentation will require an LCD projector.
