This unexpected claim comes from an unexpected source: three researchers at Baylor University.\u00a0 <\/span><br><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\"><br><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif\">Jerry Park, Joshua Tom, and Brita Andercheck <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/rhetoricraceandreligion\/2014\/01\/more-religiously-conservative.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\">report<\/a> that about 17 percent of white conservative Protestants and 16 percent of black Protestants are divorced, compared to 14 percent of all Americans.
