<\/iframe>\n<\/p> <\/strong><\/p>\nThe Busters may be the most misunderstood generation<\/strong> in recent years. They \u00a0are considered to be the 13th<\/sup> generation<\/strong> ever to be called \u201cAmerican.\u201d This group consists of those who are now approximately 30-50 years of age <\/strong>and were born between 1961 and 1981. Unlike their \u201cBoomer\u201d predecessors, the Busters are the generation that emerged from a significant birth rate <\/strong>decrease<\/strong> <\/em>in the population.<\/p>\nBusters distinguished themselves from the Boomers in several unique and distinct characteristics. They are very community oriented<\/strong>, preferring to run in groups to solo. Half of them came from a single-parent home<\/strong>. Because they watched the Boomers prioritize personal achievement and lose their families, they are generally slow to marry and afraid to risk commitment<\/strong>, thus also producing few children.<\/p>\nThe Busters are a generation hungry for relationship<\/strong>. Friends are such a priority to Busters that their TV sitcom-of-choice was also called \u201cFriends.\u201d<\/strong> Many of them will say that \u201cmy friends are my family.\u201d Friends are so much \u201cfamily\u201d to them that in urban centers gang-members in the 80s and 90s started to refer to each other as \u201chomeboys.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\nThe greatest technological influence on the Buster has been the computer<\/strong>. According to Fortune Magazine<\/strong>, the Busters are \u201cthe most entrepreneurial generation we have produced.\u201d<\/strong> They are a highly technological <\/strong>generation and extremely computer comfortable, having developed countless online tools, businesses and social networks.<\/p>\nMany observers have determined that the Busters are a generation that while uncertain and suspicious of organized religion, are quite spiritually hungry<\/strong>. They are in significant need of hope<\/strong> and quite uncertain of the future<\/strong>. They were emotionally impacted by the Challenger tragedy<\/strong> and admit that they have \u201cfew heroes.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Busters values towards work itself changed significantly as opposed to their parents.
