I\u2019m excited about this week\u2019s posts on 40 Days of Peace! \u00a0So far, devoting Lent to exploring peace has been anything but peaceful.\u00a0 It\u2019s been pride shredding and assumption challenging.\u00a0 This week I\u2019ll be writing on forgiveness and putting my love to action by being \u201cat peace with everyone as far as it depends on me\u201d (Romans 12:18).<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The first post will be called, \u201cForgiving Kristen Stewart For Ruining Twilight For Me\u201d<\/i><\/b> will be about assumptions, expectations, and being judgmental. I also made my outline for a blog post using Voice Memo for the first time, I may post that just for your laughing at my scatterbrained-ness pleasure.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/span>Next, I\u2019ll write be about \u00a0how I felt like an idiot making an appointment for a tattoo consultation over the phone, the consultation itself, \u00a0and the various symbolisms of the dove in the Bible. Working Title: \u201cDove\u2026More Than a Phosphate-Free Soap\u201d<\/b><\/i><\/span>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p><\/div>\n

I\u2019ll end the week with\u00a0<\/span>\u201cForgiveness Origami\u201d<\/i><\/b>. I<\/span>nside each dove I plan on<\/span>\u00a0writing a forgiveness prayer for those who have offended me, a prayer for<\/i> forgiveness for the ways I\u2019ve offended, or an offense that I\u2019m choosing to release. \u00a0Rachel Held Evans did something similar with hate mail called, \u201c<\/span>Swords into Plowshare and Hate Mail Into Origami<\/a>\u201c.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span>This should be fun in spite of the fact that I am not a crafty chick\u2026at all.\u00a0 Like, I couldn\u2019t cut a straight line to save my life. I\u2019m\u00a0really hoping I can pull this thing off though, it\u2019ll be a cool reminder to\u00a0forgive. Oh and y\u2019all\u2026 if I have a hard time you can be sure I\u2019ll write every detail and nearly blue expletive I utter from doves that come out looking like mutant birds on a mission to overtake the world with paper cuts. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span>
