\nChrist is risen!<\/p>\n

He is risen, indeed!<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t contain my joy today.\u00a0 Of all days, today, Resurrection Sunday, our hope in Christ in realized. When Jesus rose from the grave, he did more than thumb his nose at metaphysics or performed another miracle, he brought Shalom!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Death, suffering, injustice, violence, oppression, all come under his rule because he OVERCAME.\u00a0 His life was vindicated and his self-giving example of love upheld when he rose from the grave.<\/p>\n

Our wholeness is here!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We just have to choose it. We have to open our hands, to receive it.\u00a0 Open our eyes to perceive it.<\/p>\n

Shalom is ours for the taking, Loves.<\/p>\n

Today we\u2019re reminded that our hope is not in vain when we place it in Jesus.<\/p>\n

Satan did his worse.\u00a0 He brought the violence of hatred and pride from an eternity past on our savior and Jesus responded with peace, truth, faithfulness and his unfathomable love.<\/p>\n

Love that poured out for you and me.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Love that says, \u201cYou are worth it!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Love that says, \u201cI see you.\u00a0 I know you.\u00a0 Right now on this cross, I understand your pain.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Love that says, \u201cTruly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Love that\u2019s so great the God who is love, vindicated Jesus\u2019 suffering because three days later HE ROSE FROM THE GRAVE.<\/p>\n

If the cross was his inauguration as Prince of Peace, the empty tomb is his proclamation that he is King Eternal!<\/p>\n

Can you see why I can\u2019t stop dancing around my kitchen this morning?<\/p>\n

Today know this, my friend.\u00a0 YOU ARE NOT ALONE.\u00a0 You are seen by this overcoming,\u00a0 gentle, faithful Jesus.\u00a0 He understands pain and suffering and fear and loneliness.\u00a0 He gets it and he is with you and your suffering.\u00a0 Trust that it will be redeemed.\u00a0 Because the Redeemer lives.<\/p>\n

Happy Easter, my friends.\u00a0 I\u2019m praying for Jesus to delight you with joy, inspire you with hope, and give you courage in the midst of suffering.<\/p>\n
