Create increasingly larger, theologically monolithic and<br>\nhomogeneous churches, or 2. Disintegrate, fracture and eventually close the doors and<br>\nlose relationship with each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For almost 10 years in The Refuge community, we have tried to practice a third option\u2013a<br>\nThird Way\u2013where instead of fighting for our positions or fleeing for the safe haven of a<br>\ngroup that looks, thinks, and believes like us\u2013we live in the tension of our difference.<\/p>\n<p><i>We are different, not divided<\/i>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And because practical application and providing awesome resources to the Body is something Kathy and I love to do, we\u2019ve teamed up with Travis Reed over at \u201cThe Work of the People\u201d to provide Shalom in the City listeners access to the videos and discussion guides.
