I love to get super practical so that\u2019s why I created this 12-point actionable list.\u00a0 I\u2019m almost too Type-A to function ;).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Why \u201cSista\u201d<\/h2>\n<h2>Because we belong to each other.<\/h2>\n<p>The Bible says,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/biblehub.com\/matthew\/5-9.htm\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">\u201cblessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God.\u201d\u00a0 <\/a><\/p>\n<p>This tells me that peacemaking is in our spiritual DNA\u2014we can live into this familial trait as sisters. Which is thrilling and terrifying at the same time. The world needs a mighty army of women rising up together to stand for peace.<\/p>\n<h2>Sister\/ Sista\/ Which One<\/h2>\n<p>My husband says, the older I get the more Southern I sound. He\u2019s caught me extending the \u201ci\u201d when I say rice and my \u201cy\u2019alls\u201d are way more pronounced than ever. Whatever. I\u2019m owning it. \u00a0 So, when I say \u201csister\u201d it inevitably comes out, \u201csista\u201d.
