One thing you should know about me is I\u2019m very into my Facebook app.\u00a0 I use it every day, sometimes twice a day, and I record everything I love on my wall.\u00a0 From my kiddos craziest antics to my amazing online deals, if I love it\u2014it\u2019s going on my wall.\u00a0 So for my \u201cWhat I\u2019m into\u201d I\u2019m going to show a snapshot of my favorite FB statuses and share the stories behind them.\u00a0 Some of them will be purely for the entertainment value, some will have an insight or resource to encourage you, if you say\u2026 have a tween who loses his mind and cops an attitude over doing his summer reading.\u00a0 Which leads us to the first FB \u201cinto\u201d (you might need to click the image to read the statuses).<\/p>\n
Then after an hour in his room, I posted this:<\/p>\n Which leads me a verse I\u2019m definitely into this month:<\/p>\n Galatians 6:9<\/p>\n \u00a0Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n I was quoting this during Tyson\u2019s tween tantrum, but it\u2019s been encouraging to me all month long.\u00a0 Because as you all know, I\u2019m weary from being a good summer mama.<\/a>\u00a0 But, this Scripture has reassured me that all this effort will, at some point, reap a harvest.<\/p>\n I\u2019m totally into BK\u2019s $ .50 cones<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0Living in Boston, I\u2019ve learned to keep a healthy supply of quarters in my purse.\u00a0 Perfect for feeding meters and feeding children!\u00a0 And the one closest one to me has a drive thru! I took this picture while we were out back to school shoe shopping.<\/p>\n I\u2019m into our church plant launch team and our discussion of \u201cMere Discipleship\u201d by Lee Camp.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n My favorite discussion from the book by far has to be on the gospel. We had some great discussions around \u201cwhat is the gospel\u201d and how to share the gospel with others.\u00a0 I\u2019m so thankful for a team that wants to share the gospel through the lens of shalom.\u00a0 The gospel is Jesus\u2019\u00a0 Story of why and how he came to bring wholeness and harmony to all people.\u00a0 If you\u2019re interested in some good Anabaptist theology\u2026grab this book.<\/p>\n \u00a0I\u2019m into my annual back to school Autumn purge.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019m like a bear\u2014 but in reverse.\u00a0 Instead of searching out food to store for the winter\u2019s hibernation, I get rid of everything.\u00a0 EVERYTHING!\u00a0 And I try to make my house pretty for our long New England Winter.\u00a0 Which for you DIY loving readers, you\u2019ll be interested to know in Sept.\u00a0 I\u2019ll be posting some projects I pulled from Pinterest for my house.\u00a0 Maybe you\u2019ll be inspired or tickled by my antics. Either way,\u00a0 I hope you\u2019ll join me for those posts.\u00a0 I\u2019m an enthusiastic, yet hopeless DIYer. So far we\u2019ve purged my living room, the kids\u2019 room, and my closet.\u00a0\u00a0 The kitchen is next!\u00a0 Maybe I\u2019ll finally find my heart shaped baking pan. I can\u2019t justify the purchase when I have Coach tennis shoes I bought a couple of years ago from a thrift shop that look similar.\u00a0 So pray for me, y\u2019all!<\/p>\n I\u2019m listening \u201cThe Mortal Instruments: City of Bones\u201d<\/a> on my Audible app because I want to see the movie next month and I\u2019m a bit neurotic about books that become movies.\u00a0 I must read the book before seeing the movie \u2014even if I had no interest prior to it getting a movie deal.\u00a0 I refuse see the movie before I read the book.\u00a0I think, the cinema magic ruins the reading experience for me.\u00a0 I know.. I know\u2026call me a neurotic book snob.<\/p>\n Well loves, I must make my way to Target and get some more laundry detergent.
