One of my preschoolers was pretending I was her customer in a hair salon (which she calls the \u201cCutie Salon\u201d instead of \u201cbeauty salon\u201d). She picked up a prop shampoo<\/strong> bottle and says, seriously, \u201cKristen I am going to put this shampoo<\/strong> in your hair. It will help you poop better. This [conditioner bottle] helps you with pee.\u201d \u00a0I laughed so hard I forgot for a minute that I was soul sick for our nation.<\/p>\n

Other Sick Pilgrims are taking solace in a cup of joe and some good books:<\/p>\n

When I placed a holiday order for bones coffee, a coffee company I highly recommend, they included a free mug in the shipment. Apparently, I was one of 200 winners. I feel pretty special about that. Also tried their peppermint bark coffee today. 2 Thumbs way up.<\/p>\n
