A lovely lady (hi, lovely lady!) sent me an Amazon gift card, so I did something I haven\u2019t done in maybe ten\u00a0years: bought a new album. It\u2019s on repeat now, all five songs of it, and that\u2019s why I\u2019m not getting anything done today.<\/p>\n

The album is\u00a0 Son Little: Things I Forgot<\/a>. Here is \u201cYour Love Will Blow Me Away When My Heart Aches.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/iframe>\n<p>This guy is the real deal. Haven\u2019t heard anything this good in years and years. My only concern is that <em>I don\u2019t think he is okay<\/em>. I want to stop by his house with some hot soup\u00a0and make sure he is getting to bed at a reasonable hour. \u00a0He has one of those \u201cquivering with life while staring at death\u201d voices, but it\u2019s the silences between lines that really hurt.<\/p>\n<p>He also won my heart by posting a picture on Facebook of a check for ten cents that he recently earned through his art.<\/p>\n<p>Can\u2019t wait for more songs!<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 A lovely lady (hi, lovely lady!) sent me an Amazon gift card, so I did something I haven\u2019t done in maybe ten\u00a0years: bought a new album.
