I was grousing to myself about spending yet another evening and afternoon driving back and forth to town, but at least I had the radio on \u2014 and I discovered a new (to me) singer! Samantha Crain<\/a>. Oh, what a voice. Here is \u201cWe Are the Same\u201d<\/p>\n<\/iframe>\n<p>Plus she looks a\u00a0tiny\u00a0bit like Katrina Fernandez, which predisposes me to like her. \u00a0Love her face, love the aching clarity of her voice, the way she carries herself, and how many stories she has. \u00a0Here\u2019s \u201cSanta Fe\u201d:<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\""Santa Fe" by Samantha Crain\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6cssvT1W4c8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<p>And here\u2019s the one I heard this evening: \u201cElk City\u201d:<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=invDw\u20134BYs\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=invDw\u20134BYs<\/a>\n<p>Hooray, I love discovering new music! Her voice makes me think of a clear brook that runs in and out of the shade.
