Miller isn\u2019t Jesus<\/a>, and that his partner, Australian Mary Luck, is not Mary Magdalene, as she claims?\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jlake.com\/blog\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">via<\/em>\u00a0Jay Lake<\/a>)<\/p>\n\u201cIf the citizens of Greece, New York, want to continue to hear before their town board meetings that Jesus Christ is \u2018our savior,\u2019 <a href=\"http:\/\/religion.blogs.cnn.com\/2013\/05\/21\/my-take-town-prayers-need-less-jesus-more-krishna\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">they are going to have to line up some Hindu priests<\/a> willing to tell them that Krishna is \u2018our Lord.'\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cI see people wanting to make <a href=\"http:\/\/www.faithpermeatinglife.com\/2013\/05\/the-opposite-of-empathy.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">snap judgments that allow them to remain secure in their belief that this is rare<\/a>, this is weird, and therefore this is very very different from them and not something they have to worry about.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cWhat\u2019s their state beverage, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebirdist.com\/2013\/04\/state-birds-what-they-should-be.html?m=1\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">A Half Glass of Warm Tapwater?<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/p\/sports\/more_sports\/dodgers_gambled_big_session_phenom_hMrc8WG9rGlV9XtldJByiI\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Are you out of your [bleeping] mind?<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/christianpiatt\/2013\/06\/church-sign-epic-fails-he-touched-me-edition\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">Church Sign Epic Fails<\/a>: \u2018He Touched Me'\u201d<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Some weekend links, including: Two astonishing examples of heroism;
