Black Lives Matter leader says black-on-black crime is a myth and he’s not joking

A Black Lives Matter organizer from none other than Washington D.C. has done his research (read: Googled) and determined that black-on-black crime is a myth. I wish I could say this is a joke, but Aaron Goggans is deadly serious.

Remember my post about NFL great Ray Lewis passionately condemning the Black Lives Matter movement for ignoring the epidemic of blacks killing blacks? Well, Goggans was invited on CNN to give his reaction and this is what he said:

“It’s important to talk about the myth of black-on-black crime, and it’s just that, a myth. Any Google search of the term can come up with a lot of different articles.”

How scholarly of him!

Meanwhile, Lewis’s assessment is completely proven right with how quickly Goggans ignored the reality of what is actually happening in the black community. He believes people like Lewis are spending too much time worrying about “intercommunity crime,” as he put it, instead of focusing on “state-sanctioned violence.”

Is he connected to the same Internet as the rest of us? A simple search on any platform will turn up the enormity of black-on-black murders  that far outnumber the few killings of blacks by white police officers.

Yet, Goggans’ continued dispensing his Google wisdom:

“It’s not just a few white cops killing a few unarmed black men, it’s actually the state systematically creating systems that are killing black people, both black women, black children, black men, black queer, black trans, and black gender non-conforming folks. And that’s the issue that I think Ray Lewis didn’t talk about in his video.”

Even liberal CNN tried to point Goggans to the reality of inner-city murder rates but he blamed them for steering off course and away from his preferred narrative: systemic racism.

The only myth here is that black lives are the primary concern for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Black Lives Matter is really a racist moment by definition – providing a value based on the color of someones skin is Racist…..PERIOD!
