The consequence is a deep, deep self hatred. Why? Because we instinctively hate trash. We want to destroy trash. This behavior not only breeds a deep loathing of oneself and one another, but piled on top of that is a deep, unspoken and unrecognized guilt.<\/p>\n
The whole happy world tells us not to feel guilty. We are just being ordinary, healthy, red blooded sexy Americans. Our bizarre and twisted sexual behaviors (we are told) are just as normal as Ma\u2019s home cooking, the ball game and apple pie.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless the guilt and self loathing run deep. We know deep down what we are doing is sick and wrong and hurtful and ugly.<\/p>\n
We feel that the sin must be punished. In fact we don\u2019t feel much pleasure in the the shallow sex anymore. We want something more powerfully intoxicating.<\/p>\n
We feel an insatiable urge to be punished and to punish. The guilt must be expiated. Even the thought of this brings us pleasure.<\/p>\n
We therefore feel a sickly\u00a0irrational need to punish and be punished and soon we seek in our sickness to find pleasure in punishment.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s another level of this sickness: the parenting of this generation has been deficient. We\u2019ve spoiled and neglected our children. There has been no loving discipline. Fathers are absent. Mothers are ignorant. All are too busy to take time to discipline and train their children. So the children grow up to long for discipline and for the loving parenting they should have had.<\/p>\n
So they seek in their sickness a distorted discipline\u00a0and find pleasure in punishment.<\/p>\n
All of this is deeply true, deeply sick and if not corrected, can only lead to further depravity. Be prepared for more stories glorifying rape, bondage, torture, cannibalism, fetishes, abduction, imprisonment and ritual murder.<\/p>\n
And be prepared for the fact that these things will be sold and marketed as daring, risky and adventuresome.<\/p>\n
