Follow the logic. If children can be bought and sold, then what do we call that?<\/p>\n
It\u2019s called slavery.<\/p>\n
We Americans think the only kind of slavery is Africans toiling under the hot sun in the cotton fields with a white man on a horse whipping them.<\/p>\n
That is only one form of slavery. Slavery is not just Africans working in the cotton field. Slavery occurs whenever a human being is bought or sold because whatever you buy and sell you own.<\/p>\n
What may you do with what you own? You may kill it or throw it away if you want.<\/p>\n
Isn\u2019t that what we now do with babies? Kill it and throw it away. Kill it and cut it up and sell the body parts.<\/p>\n
We think slavery has been done away with? Folks, we have slavery everywhere around us. Buying and selling babies and baby parts is slavery. Prostitution is slavery. Human trafficking is slavery. Depriving workers their just wage is slavery. Buying cheap stuff in America made in Asian sweatshops contributes to slavery.<\/p>\n
We are horrified at the news about Planned Parenthood, but what we see is only a symptom of a much deeper decadence and rot in our society.<\/p>\n
What\u2019s the answer? Only when we see every other person with the innate dignity of being created in God\u2019s image will we end this corruption.<\/p>\n
If we don\u2019t do that human life will become cheaper and cheaper and we will kill and destroy others with no more feeling of guilt\u00a0than we would at pulling a weed.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
