It seemed to me that I saw a very wondrous tree<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0lifted into the air, enveloped by light,<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 the brightest of trees. That beacon was all<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 covered with gold. Gems stood<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 beautiful at the surface of the earth, there were five also<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 up on the central joint of the cross.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
All those fair through eternal decree gazed\u00a0on the angel of the Lord.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
It was certainly not a wicked person\u2019s gallows there,<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 but holy spirits, men over the earth,<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 and all this famous creation gazed on him.<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 Wondrous was that tree of victory, and I stained with sins<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 wounded sorely with defects, I saw the tree of glory,<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 honoured with garments, shining joyously,<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0\u00a0 adorned with gold. Gems had<\/span><\/span>
\u00a0 splendidly covered the Lord\u2019s tree.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
