brightest of beams. All was that beacon<\/div>\n
sprinkled with gold. Gems stood<\/div>\n

shone on the shoulder-span. All there beheld the Angel of God <\/div>\n
fair through predestiny. Indeed, that was no wicked one\u2019s gallows,<\/div>\n
but holy souls beheld it there,<\/div>\n
men over earth, and all this great creation.<\/div>\n
Wondrous that victory-beam\u2013and I stained with sins,<\/div>\n
with wounds of disgrace. I saw glory\u2019s tree<\/div>\n
honored with trappings, shining with joys,<\/div>\n
decked with gold; gems had<\/div>\n
wrapped that forest tree worthily round.<\/div>\n
