would\u00a0<\/em>you vote for?\u201d<\/p>\nThe presidential candidate\u00a0I would vote for would have these policies:<\/p>\n
1. A \u00a0universal health insurance plan collected\u00a0at the state\u00a0level and administered at the county level.<\/p>\n
2. A military policy based strictly on self defense. We keep a strong military presence to defend against anyone who tries to attack our country. We don\u2019t invade other countries. At all. Ever.<\/p>\n
3. An intelligence policy that repudiates torture and is based solely on self defense.<\/p>\n
4. A state funded voucher based education system from kindergarten through college.<\/p>\n
5. A minimum living wage.<\/p>\n
6. Better tax breaks for high earners who donate to bona fide charities<\/p>\n
7. No medical charges for childbirth or infant intensive care.<\/p>\n
8. No abortion. Free adoption. Subsidies for couples who adopt.<\/p>\n
9. Investment in rehabilitation for prisoners<\/p>\n
10. Corrupt politicians go to jail\u2026.with their corrupt bankers.<\/p>\n
11. Separation of civil unions from religious marriage ceremonies.<\/p>\n
12. Subsidies for stay at home moms or dads.<\/p>\n
13. Policies based on\u00a0compassion and forgiveness rather than political correctness.<\/p>\n
14. A secure and straightforward way for illegal immigrants to apply for citizenship.<\/p>\n
15. Secure borders based on self defense and a process to assist and control immigration<\/p>\n
16. \u00a0Funding for infrastructure improvements and maintenance<\/p>\n
17. Increased funding for national, state and local parks.<\/p>\n
18. Tax cuts for everybody.<\/p>\n
For those who are worried about how these things will be funded\u2013think of the money we\u2019ll save by having a military policy that is based only in self defense. The price of one whizz bang fighter plane would probably pay for several hospitals or schools.<\/p>\n
