\u201cYes?\u201d I said, fearing that he was about to divulge some inner insanity to which I would have to listen carefully.<\/div>\n

\u201cYou wore that hat today at Mass\u2026\u201d<\/div>\n

\u201cThe biretta?\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cYeh, the biretta.\u201d then I noticed his eyes were getting misty. \u201cAlways wear it Father. Please. I haven\u2019t seen one for years, and it brought back my childhood. I\u2019m visiting here from New York. This church is beautiful the Mass is beautiful. Thank you for wearing the biretta.\u201d Then he gives me this huge bear hug and I hear him sobbing a tiny bit.<\/div>\n
